Personal Profile

My name is Ania Wisniewska, I was born in Poland.

In 2007 I decided to change my life and make a new start in the UK.  I have a family and God blessed me with two lovely children.

I started working for Beckett Voice and Data in 2014.  I think that it is important to love what you are doing in your job and I do, I am an Accounts Administrator and I have always loved working with numbers.

I have learnt a lot about England, English traditions, food, culture and our business at Becketts and I have also increased my knowledge in Accounting.

I also have other interests such as reading books, swimming, and one of my passions is interior design for which I have completed some College courses. I also used my skills in interior design to help with design ideas when decorating the offices at Becketts.

I love horses and I even managed to drag the staff from Becketts to a local stable for a company riding lesson where we rode through the forest on the horses.

Everyone loves it at work when they learn about my Polish food, traditions and experience etc. One of their favourites is the Polish “Fat Thursday” which is equivalent to the English “Pancake Day”, but it means on that day I bring lots of polish doughnuts and favorki (pastry) to the office for sharing.

I try to teach my colleagues a bit of my language but it is really hard!!

I think I bring lots of funny things and stories to the office as they sometimes call me “crazy Polish girl”.
