Teams Enabled SIP Trunks for Business
Oxford University Press
Oxford University Press (OUP) is the largest University Press in the world, operating in over 50 countries and is one of the commercial arms of Oxford University.
OUP had a complex, confusing and expensive telephony solution in the UK, comprising old end of life Siemens, Cisco, and Skype for Business services, with some remote sites using hosted solutions.
Overall a total of 2,500 users in the UK needed to be moved to Microsoft Teams to allow a cost effective, easy to use solution that removes the requirement for any on-site equipment.
Becketts provided OUP with technical expertise to set up and manage Microsoft Teams, integration into the existing voice platforms and migration of all numbers to Becketts Teams solution.
This allowed OUP to run both the old systems and Teams together, migrating users as required according to need, and allowing all users to be migrated to schedule.
As a commercial organisation, OUP are now simply paying for the number of concurrent users, with significant cost benefits and the knowledge that users will always be able to make and receive Teams calls.
