TEAMS SURVEY – The Results are in!
HERES A CHANCE TO GET THE RESULTS FROM A SURVEY WITHOUT COMPLETING A SURVEY, NO ACTION FOR YOU JUST READ THE HIGHLIGHTS:
Interesting results from our truly independent Microsoft Teams Survey.
A couple of months ago, Becketts commissioned a survey with LSE and UCL the Cambridge Consulting Network to carrying out research for our project on the telecommunications industry.
We wanted to understand if real-life productivity gains and cost savings were found by using MS Teams for online meetings in the workplace. The aim was to gather information not skewed by manufacturer bias and understand how Teams is being used by real people, day by day, in their real jobs.
We didn’t collect and contacts names, there was no deliberate bias in the questions and the survey was short enough to guarantee a high rate of completion.
CCN discovered:
- 96% of respondents were using Teams in some form in their organisation
- Most used MS Teams for internal communications and for around 10 meetings per user per week
- Productivity gains were achieved of around 2 hours a week by using Teams for meetings and collaboration,
- The main reported benefits were the ability to share and edit documents on a single screen among multiple users.
- More than 60% of users said that they would continue to use Teams for meetings, even when face to face meetings were allowed.
Over the past year Becketts has been providing market leading Teams solutions to Public Sector and Private organisations such as Somerset County Council, Cranfield University and Pioneer DJ (Alpha Theta) to help their employees work effectively wherever they are, at home or away. Our main growth has been in enabling the Phone System feature in Microsoft Teams at a simple unbeatable price, to literally give users a Voice to call to the outside world.
